Win three, lose 13. History will repeat itself yet again. My God, do something about this! Does anyone on the Sabres have any pride whatsoever? I think not.

Vowed not to watch a game when they announced the Ruff hiring. The worst possible choice. Lazy hire and insult to fans in Buffalo. Remember reading al the "Ruff will straighten this out." "Lindy will turn things around." Sorry, he is a dinosaur and I have spared myself the frustration of watching the same garbage we witnessed under Granato.

Lindy can no longer abuse, intimidate and bully 20 year old boys, so has nothing short of the greatest goalie of all time to speak of in support of his coaching past. He did not get fired in NJ because the time did not perform. Last year was an anomaly for the Devils, with key injuries (Hamilton, etc.) introducing new players into the team, and awful goaltending that kept them down. There was more to the hiring, maybe the key players on the team were sick of him and let it be know? Once and bumhole always an bumhole, even if the times have forced him to soften his approach.

Not putting all of this on Lindy, but the thought that he was going to turn things around is pure folly and the suckers keep paying/watching this freak show. Adams has done a great job identifying young talent, but done nothing to put together a team that is structured to win. Having almost your entire core be under age 25 is a joke, and this is not how they learn anything. We keep seeing it over and over. Young guys get their brains kicked in, literally and figuratively, for 5-6 years and need to go somewhere else to thrive. Need we list the examples of this. We are in cycle 2.5 - 3.0 of this insanity. Don't know that there is any way out of it. That is the scary part of it.

Every team in league will be lining up for any of the young talents on this team, and Sabres will get robbed blind in trades because nobody that has a choice will accept a trade here. Good luck and keep sending the Sabres your hard earned money and time by watching.
