Conroy has got to see the writing on the wall. Andersson needs to be traded, followed by all the UFA’s. We can’t keep finishing near the bottom of the playoff teams. It’s not a recipe for success.
Flames got some young guns playing already, they’ve got some farmhands that need a shot, and they’ve got a decent prospect pool. They need a couple years of top 5 picks to draft that superstar. Once in a while teams hit with later picks but chances increase severly the earlier you pick. Flames have never drafted higher than 4th overall, there’s a reason they sit where they are.
