That hit looks extremely bad, wouldn’t be suprized if Zary is done for the season. It’s really too bad as I thought he was becoming a legit top 6 center. Kerins is the logical choice, he deserves a chance with the season he’s having.

Flames continue to float the mushy middle. Trade Andersson and call up Poirier. I don’t think he’s had a sniff in the show yet.

Yeah the hit looked really bad. It's not good when he just grabs at it to stabilize it. I have had more than my share of knee injuries and I feel for the kid.

It suckes for the team as the kid injected a lot of energy into lineup. It felt like he put the team on his back a lot of nights and others would follow.

The Flames desperately need some pure goal scoring and Kerins might fit the bill.
It is hard to fathom why the Flames consistently lose games where their shot total is significantly higher than their opponents.As stated, getting some natural goal scorers would not hurt. I also feel that the Flames take a lot of wasted shots from the blue line with no consistent attempt to screen the goalie, thus accounting for the low goals to shots ratio. Let's hope for some good news on Connor.
