Last year Pitt sold Guentzel and a number of other UFAs. They missed the playoffs.

In the summer they didn't use cap space to improve the roster, but instead weaponized it to take Kevin Hayes. Got a 2nd for that.

In November they sold off Lars Eller for more futures.

Today, they sit 14th in the East.

But now I hear they might be sellers???

Pittsburgh has options to bring up for goalie. Not sure ready to do that with their other youth.

Lol exactly. Penguins always planned to be sellers. They never even approached any of their upcoming UFAs besides Crosby to talk about extensions.
