I highly doubt they’d trade Laf in a deal for miller. Chytil and Schneider could happen. Idk how teams view Chytil tho, and all the injury concerns

I think the devils get him, for Nemec or that Casey kid. Van wants a RHD, that speculation has been pretty rampant

Zib, we just have to hope he figures it out. He’s definitely getting more chances but man those days of him scoring at will like he did seem like forever ago

Tonight is a big game . Mtl gave up 7 unanswered goals last night, so maybe the last thing they want to do is play a hockey game tonight and we get two pts, in regulation preferably

Expecting a Habs team coming out pissed with a chip on each shoulder. This won't be an easy win.

This goalie they are facing is down right scary. He’s 4-0, gave up 4 goals total and .970 save% 😬

If by this time next year we had somehow added JT Miller and Rantanen, subtracted Zib and Panarin, swapped Lindgren out for a true top pair partner for Fox, then we'd be talking "believing" again. Not holding my breath. Good for those of you still watching these games, I can't do it to myself.

If the rangers are serious about trading Laf, they better aim for someone other than Miller to trade him for. Miller only makes sense if zib/Kreider are the main piece going the other way

Would be so typical of this team to do the ass backwards thing and trade LAF before trading the real problem on this team.

Maybe it’s Elias Peterson we are putting Laf in a package for 🤔

If they traded Laf in a package for Miller after they just traded Kakko, I think I’d become a Kraken or Yetti fan

They just signed Laf to a long contract extension. Even though he is not playing great lately, I think he is untouchable.
Look for a big game from him tonite in Montreal, he seems to play well in front of his family...

I don’t think Drury is that dumb, but I also didn’t think he’d be dumb enough to trade Kakko when this season he was looking the best he’s ever looked.

Would you make Chytill the main piece in a miller trade? Considering you just don’t know his injury future year to year

I would - And then I’d spend a gross amount of draft capital on centers.

Yes. I don't think Chytil finishes his NHL tenure on his own terms.
I'm also not sold on Miller given what others have said about his attitude. This room is having a hard enough time without bringing in another possible cancer.

The salary cap supposedly going up by 9m next season is quite interesting. Also read somewhere that the NHL's revenue is doing so well that they halted the players escrow payments.

Why bother when you’d have miller and zib locked up until 2030 and Trocheck until 2029
