I was at the game- it really was Vinny's play at the end of the 2nd that broke the back. We were playing relatively even up until that moment.

Also (frank)ing igor needs to be ready when the whistle blows. How many 1st shot goals has he let in this year? It really looked like something he should have stopped- Even the 3 on 1 at the end of the 2nd looked stoppable. Come on man your Making $11+m. come prepared.

I cant remember when it was the last time I left a game with 10 mins left- but I did...

Goal 3: Chris Kreider, who missed a golden opportunity in the second to make it 1-1, fumbling a cross-ice feed that left with a wide open net, back checked to thwart a chance. However, his weak clearing attempt off the boards was stopped at the blue line by Svechnikoc. Puck gets to Sebastian Aho and it’s 3-0 just 1:04 into the third.

Infuriating.

Laf also missed a tap in in the first- all he had to do was lift the puck

Zib was stoned in the third on another breakaway.

it wasnt that long ago that he was considered a goal scorer. He couldnt score in an empty net right now- Completely lost

Rangers could’ve won that game if they executed their chances. This just isn’t it this year. Retool hard this summer

Up until Vinny's ridiculous play - they were skating well, and the feeling was that they would eventually break through - I read Jans recap but from my view he blindly drop passes it to nobody with three guys caught deep.

I think he knew Miller was there. The pass didn’t connect. But even if it did, not sure Miller was going to have a better opportunity given where Gostisbehere was. Would have been a better option to force Andersen to make a save and hope for a rebound that kicked to Miller

This team is nowhere close to being a contender. I hope they pass on JT and just fire-sale at the deadline.

I think Vally said it best in the first intermission, I would have benched Panarin too for a few shifts

I believe you're right, Jan. But, that is no excuse for Trocheck thinking that was the right play. These guys are in the top echelon of hockey players on the planet and right now, as a team, they don't feel like they are the best option to score even when they are 8 feet from the goal with no one in their way. That is an epic lack of confidence.

Lavy has turned into a pussy.
Is he a buddy to these guys or the coach???? They have zero repercussions for poor play. I might even be able to forgive it in the case of poor execution or mental errors. But, when you see guys not hustling, or even trying the same plays that have been costing us points game in game out and nothing changes but their linemates, for all of 3 shifts, the coach isn't doing his job. Plain and simple.

Oh, I know!
It made me laugh when reading the write-up. I wasn't going to bring it up at first, because I didn't want him to correct it!!

The was right at the point I thought to turn it off. But, like the sucker I am, I watched til the end. I always feel that I need to watch it all, regardless of how nauseating, in order to be able to participate in these discussions.
