I love and appreciate how he goes for the net, even in a low percentage play. He can create havoc there, which is needed. At first I didn’t like the reassignment to the top line, but now I see his value there. Wish we had a center that could ignite DeBrincat and Kane.

Agree on all. Would love to see Danielson take a huge step forward. When he turns his brain off he can make plays in tight and get really creative. Concerned that Kane’s injuries are picking up.

DHN had a story this morning, arguing that Kasper has earned a spot with the Wings and should not be sent back down. They must have gotten some blowback/ridicule from readers as they removed the article. He earned his spot last October and will never play for GRG again unless it's for a conditioning stint.

Too bad DRW has to look for yet another C because Marco found a spot on the wing on line 1!

My hope is that he can eventually be moved back to center which is his natural position... and one of the reasons Detroit drafted him. It's not uncommon to see prospects start off on the wing and then move back to center. He'll have to prove he's a good 2-way player before they move him there. Going to the top line was the spark he needed to really start producing and get his mojo back.

Larkin played wing to start with in the NHL. I think Kasper has the tools to make it work. In the meantime he’s learning high tempo reps and getting to work with Raymond and Larkin. May have a summer working on faceoffs etc
