You're inferring that Pettersson is not beneficial to the team. i.e. a cancer in the lockerroom. Is he the cause of the friction with JT ?? EP says he wants to stay in Vancouver.

Normally I would love to trade for EP, giving up Sillinger; 2025 1st rnd; Brindley; + D prospect (not Mateychuk).

Zak - I would be open to going after Pettersson and/or Boeser. I pass on the others.
So maybe trade for EP, and sign Boeser in free agency ?? My team would have 2 strong scoring lines, a checking/scoring line, and a solid checking line with offensive capability.
These 2 would fit into our 5+ year window.

Depending on Monahan's IR status I might check out Nelson since he's a UFA and would only be a rental.
