DO not question the organization on its handling of their players -- they are The Gold Standard of the NHL

I do not care about Kolosov. He doesn’t look like anything special to me. If the Flyers are OK with him going back home during the NHL break rather than playing in the AHL why should I worry about it? He plays. He doesn’t play. Does it really make any difference?

Would love to provide a detailed answer. Though would likely get a ban as some of my previous post did.

Short answer is the Flyers have done a poor job with his development.

So Kolosov went back to Belarus during the NHL break? Why is that even a thing as he is on the Phantoms. He just left the team?

Flyer's development process leaves a lot to be desired.

Why are they catering to this player? Both parties are being hurt on how this has been handled.

Get a sense it is all about the money for Kolosov.

You also suggested Konecny should be elevated to the top 6, without explaining who he would replace. So you've been all over the map on his usage.

Maybe, but money in the NHL doesn't come for a while, he should know that.

I get a sense he is all about himself. Didn't want to come because he thought he was "better" than a depth goalie at this stage of his NHL career. He finally gets here and had mixed results. He made some brilliant saves, but also made his share of rookie mistakes. Seems like he doesn't want to go through the process all NHL players go through, he just wants to start right away. How coachable is he ? We don't know anything about that. But if I had to guess based on his other views, would seem unlikely. Overall, he needs to adjust his attitude / maturity. Too bad because we could use another goalie who can be reliable. Squandered opportunity if he doesn't find his way back in my view.
