Did he dress for all of Sweden's games? I know he was on the roster, but I never heard his name during the broadcasts, though I didn't see the USA Sweden game that closely.

I think it's best to consider him a 70 to 80 point guy. The one year he had that was good was a contract year. And the fact that JT Miller was the top line guy when he played for Vancouver tells alot about what the Canucks thought of him. They don't think he's the typical Top Line foward to build around. Not because of his point totals. But because of his effort and mentality. He's in the same category as Mitch Marner or Panerin. Talented but not a guy you build a team around. And when you pay a player more than 10 million a year their is a expectation of being a leader and putting in the extra effort to make the team better. And Petterson just doesn't seem interested in that.

Hey, at least you've had a blogger. I'm a STL Bluz guy and we haven't had one for years and years. The SAD part is Eklund is a STL broadcaster. Truly pathetic that the Bluz don't have a blogger on a STL generated site. Truly Pathetic, and this a
is after I volunteered for the position....for FREE.

No way Jose

Talented but lacks drive, too many red flags about him for 10+M per year...not the top paid guy you want leading your team. The cost in assets is way too high for what you get.

Pretty much my thoughts on this. I love the player but he needs to be a #2 or #3 I think. (and the #1 CANNOT be 3rd line lunch-pail like JT Miller ffs! haha)

Ugh Id take a bag of pucks at this point. His 100 point year was a fluke.

He's lazy, soft and arrogant. just all around Crap person/player.

Both him an Miller need to be gone for this room to move on, getting rid of half a cancer only lets the other half keep growing. good luck to any team that takes this POS on.
