Not fussy and most the the prospective trades. Maybe Ryan Donato. I think he would only be worth a 3rd or 4rth round pick .... maybe throw in someone like Crookshank or Boucher. But I don't think that moves the needle for Chicago.
So , speaking of trades, what do we do once JBD is ready to return. He is skating now. Too many d-men .... Hamonic, Matinpalo, JBD. All would have to clear waivers, and technically, we can't send down Hamonic.
We could probably slide JBD down to Belleville for a conditioning stint of 5 games and delay the decision. I think Matinpalo has deserved to play over Hamonic but for some reason, this teams will probably continue to trot out Hamonic.
There is no nice guy in hockey if you want to win and make the playoffs. My choice would be to buy out Hamonic and release him. I doubt anybody wants him, even at his salary. |
