Thx Yorkie
The slim to none chance of the PO’s is the obvious yet meaningful games ahead against tough teams is great for the kids growth. Further more 2 against a division rival VGK is even better. Would like to see mentally tough fast hockey to close out the season. |

I see internal growth, wish it was quicker but I really expect to see an impact on the team next season. The team is quite deep, we just lack scoring ability especially without Hughes on the ice
This has been a throwaway season, and EP40 has been really disappointing. Hopefully he recovers or else we're going to be mediocre for another season at least. |

EP has to reinvent himself for real. No excuses when paid big you play big nothing else is acceptable. As for depth it’s looking very good. Firepower & the PP has to get better. |

Extremely disappointing. I hope they trade him before July 1. |

In the real world, they're both massive a ssholes, both greatly admire dictators.
I'm glad the noise is mostly over.

It’s always good to sell low, I heard Warren Buffet say that once… or no wait, he said the opposite. Never mind! |

I'd like them to trade EP40, but they'd never get back a 1C with anywhere near the youth or potential EP40 still has. At best you'd get a Miller, an aging 1C with an anchor contract themself that's past his prime. Not what we need or want. |

I try to separate the athlete from the politics.
Impressive feat by Ovie who broke his leg earlier this year and still smashed the record?!?
Don't think the points total will ever be touched.

You should definitely stay out of the other forum then. Whole lot of hate going on out there. |

What's shakin fellas? So much to unpack with this organization this year, to say it's been a disappointment would be an understatement.
My interest in the team has been waning over the last few years, although I'll always follow them to some degree as it's where I'm from, last year was pretty damn entertaining though! The organizational drama just got to be too much this year and the poor performance that came with it reflects so poorly on ownership & management. I think they finally broke my spirit.
Anyways, have a great summer everyone. I hope Aquilini sells the team, Rutherford retires, Tocchet moves on, and they make some huge on-ice organizational player changes for the sake of the fans of the Canucks. |

You have a certain "Je ne sais quoi" in your ability to get your point across, I respect that - haha.
I've been busy lately; although Columbus is a nice city and it's close to where I'm doing some work right now, my wife was not a big fan of the cold. So we bought another house in the Metro Phoenix area and subsequently moved. Thus I haven't been around much to share in your misery.
I have posted a bit on the Flyers thread and over in the Utah Hockey Club section of HF Boards. |
