Players should just make the lines tonight. Just randomly throw out 3 guys and call it a day.

Thanks Sean.
What no Corey Perry injury? After that bump by Gudas, the way he went down, I figured he had to be hurt.

Hmmm. Somehow we defeated red hot St Louis with a severely depleted lineup.

Be very interested how many guys in the lineup were playing sick as well.

Even with McDavid back we were in deep trouble yesterday. How the hell they pulled off that win is somewhat incredible.

As for Perry on Binnington yesterday. I wonder if he did it knowing he could mind (frank) Binnington. Either way it's about time that we were the ones going over the edge and starting poop. Been a big talk on local radio how we barely even react physically let alone engage, good to see.

As long as everyone's back healthy for the start of the playoffs, this extended rest for our key players could end up being way more important than securing home ice for the 1st round.

It's kind of a chicken and egg situation right now.

Did we want to try force getting home ice only to have guys get re-injured or be banged up come round 1?

I do think Kane and Frederic you really would like to see get some action in before playoffs if possible. Frederic new to team and well Kane hasn't saw game action in a very long time.

Yes, imperative for Frederic and Kane. You can only get so intense in practice.

Mattias Ekholm back in the lineup tonight.

Skinner on the top line with McD.
