So, we are looking at a Leafs/Sens playoff match up.
We will see lots of spin coming out of the national sports media about how the Leafs finishing first should make them strong favourites to comfortably win this series. And, we will hear extensive reports around the Sens 7 years in the playoff wilderness and how just making the playoffs may be enough for their fans.
Nobody should point out that the Sens have a better second half record and swept the season series against the Leafs.
Nobody should be satisfied with just making the playoffs.
We want more.

Actually, I think we’ll hear the opposite. Leafs will won’t to position themselves as the underdog and will be quick to point out how well the Sens have done.
