I don't think the continuing medical advances are going to happen quickly enough for me to live long enough to see the Leafs win a championship.

I wish the Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup one day soon. I wonder if there would be impromptu parades around neighbourhoods all across the globe.

Also, you stated Burke has the option of buying out Komi's contract or burying him the AHL. You claim the buyout would be Burke's preference. Why is that so? Wouldn't it be preferrable not to have an added $1mil+ on the cap for a player who's not on the team? Also, Komisarek has a NMC, so the AHL isn't an option anyway.

Hopefully the new CBA will allow teams a one time buyout that has no cap implications.

Komi will be gone then.

Wonder if Burke can trade Phaneuf?
