I was disgusted when I saw the apology from Campbell yesterday on NHL.com I seriously doubt that would have been displayed had it not been the Penguins...it is frankly sickening to keep hearing these sort of displays. It happened oh well move on...much like you said Bill, I never heard the League apologized for the offside in 80 and that was a good 3-4 feet offside....at least crosby admitted that wasn't why they lost the game.

This is gonna be a tough game for the Flyers. The Pens do not want to go 0-2 to the Flyers. You have to think that the Pens are going to throw everything at the Flyers tonight.

I look for the Flyers to weather the storm better tonight, then game 1, and to match the Pens intensity early.

I learned a long time ago, as a Flyers Fan, we get calls and we get calls against us....

I think my favorite call for us was I believe it was 97 playoffs?....When LeClair shot it through the netting into the goal against Buffalo and they counted the goal.....I laughed for a good month about that one.

Get through the initial storm and they'll be in good shape. If they don't, I doubt Pittsburgh lets off the gas given the outcome of the last game.

My lone issue with the Campbell apology is, quite simply, that there's blown calls in every game. Is good ol Collie going to come out after every game with a list, or will it just be apologies to the Penguins?

You can't challenge them, as Laviolette did. You can't criticize them, as Tortorella did and now, when there's a bad call, the league apologizes to them. I don;t buy that there's a conspiracy, but the NHL sure does nothing to dispel that junk.

You better believe it. Pens will come hard which may help the flyers later in the game of they can get through the first period. I thought the pens burned a lot of energy in the first period of game 1. Flyers just have to play their game and not let pittsburghs forechecking get to them. I think the first game was a learning process for a lot of the young guys. Now they know what to expect. I'd look for Schenn to make his presence felt early.
