Is anyone else as sick and tired as I am of listening to Burke interviews? This old heat bag just blows a lot of hot air. |

It is not that I think that it is a bad pick. I am sure he is quite an impact player.
What I am sick of is the Leafs just doing nothing to noticeably iimprove themselves. I saw a lot of teams making a lot of good picks to address their needs and strengthen themselves... but not Toronto.
Oh well, hopefully this means next year is "skate for nate", or "no winnin for McKinnon"
Burke looks to me like he has lost the swagger and any sort of passion for what he is doing. You no longer get the feeling he will make anything happen. |

thought for sure they would get Forsberg. From what Iv'e read, leaf fans aren't happy, but no where near as upset as flames fan's.

So the Leafs pick a BC guy in Rielly and Canucks pick an Ontario guy in Gaunce...we are somehow always connected |

Yeah.
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of drafting someone's who's had their knee competely reconsructed before they're old enough to legally buy a beer. I was just hoping that person would be Galyenchuk |

No but he's clearly in the late stages of the blue and white disease.

So now that we have Reilly.
Does this mean that Schenn's gone? |

No because Reilly isn't NHL ready. Schultz signing would mean that |

It's not over yet.
Burke still has tomorrow, and free agency to help the team. |

Nope. It mean's we're not getting Schultz. |

Not sure why some of you are disappointed. This is a zone breakout player, every team wants that momentum changing type of play.
This just gives them another avenue of trading out an existing defenceman to fill another need. |
