Blues Buchnevich to the Bruins? Pavel is signed in STL for one more year, after the current one with the Blues, and they have been trying to extend him…however, where will he land on the scales? The Bruins are being very aggressive on this I am told.

They can’t extend him for another year. This is total BS. The Bruins don’t have what it would take to get him. Now I have heard there is an offer for Lindholm which would send Hayes and Krug and the Leafs 2nd in 2024, Blues keeping 50% on Hayes. That is somewhat realistic.

Buchy is signed for the next 2 seasons not UFA after this 23/24. Hes the best all around player on the Blues with a great contract, would take a haul and Armstrong wants to compete. Doubt it

Source for this? That would be a home run for the Blues cant see it why Bruins want to do it, though Hampus is exactly what the Blues need.

Precisely what the Bruins need; a pricey winger to play with their elite centers.

"elite centers" quip is funny , Buchy however is NOT a pricey winger, tremendous value at 5.8 AAV

I will say if you can get Lindholm for Krug and Buchy , thats a nice hockey trade. But Hampus has a NMC and wanted to play in Boston, again doubt it as Bs love Lindholm

I wonder if Eklund realizes that a player is not eligible to sign a contract extension until he is in the last year of his current deal. Which would be July 1, 2024 for Buchnevich.

Buch is excellent value. Even ignoring all the obvious reasons this is a fabricated rOomEr, the point is that Boston needs centers so adding wingers is a meaningless roster improvement.

Yeah. The blues want to compete. Don’t have much cap room and are willing to part with their best forward who is under a good contract for 2 more seasons. Yeah that makes cents. 👌

Makes as much sense as letting Petro walk free and trying to replace him 5’8” Torey Krug. Right ?
