i read that he had just purchased a new place in florida but that dont mean much. its not like these guys cant afford more than one place. could even leave the family there and get an apartment wherever he decides to play

I think he & his family lived here well before joining the Panthers, he just bought a new house.
Tarasenko is well down the list of UFA priority. If there’s enough left and he’s interested. he’ll probably get a much higher offer elsewhere, anyway.
