Is Barrie really the best defenseman left? Kylington is 5 years younger with more upside. There are vets like Suter, Staal, Shattenkirk, Schultz, Scandella available. DeAngelo is an option. Also not sure the Wings are a fit after signing Gustafsson. A team like San Jose makes far more sense.

Seider is running their pp and they already added Gustafsson

Good thing Yzerman got rid of Walman for a 2nd. Freeing up cap space for Barrie will really improve that blue line.
