Honestly though, 3 scoring lines is how you succeed in today's league.

Get 9 decent forwards, play the hot hand, create matchup problems.

I agree, and that's why I can't wait for Bailey, rodriguez and any other fast young'n to take roster spaces from Foligno, D-Law, and Moulson. Not that those 3 are top-9 necessarily, but overall our team speed is so lacking. Also the main reason I begrudgingly think we still need Kane in our lineup.

If Nylander is 100% ready for the show this year, fantastic, but I really hope he gets the proper development and does not get rushed into the big team because there's a glaring hole on the left side and because we're slower than dog poop on an ice-flow.

It wasn't as bad as youve said.

I wasn't talking about movies. And no, there really isn't I like 95% of the movies I see. Some are certainly way better than others, but I can't remember the last time I truly disliked a movie. Some are extremely weird, or super dark or something, but that doesn't make them bad. Killer Joe immediately springs to mind. It was both weird and extremely dark.

Generally, if everybody I talk to says a movie is bad I just won't watch it.

Haven't seen it. It's a stupid premise. As far as I'm concerned it would be a 30 second movie. Batman talks poop, Superman comes down and kills him. End of movie. I could be wrong, and probably am since I don't know the ins and outs of the DC universe, but isn't the only place to get Kryptonite Krypton? And didn't Krypton blow up? Hence why Superman is here to begin with?

I buy him as Batman probably more than any of them. He just looks like a rich wiener with a giant ego. Michael Keaton did a great job as did Christian Bale, but they don't really have the look that Affleck does.

- Batman wants to destroy superman because he's killing people but yet Batman is killing a bunch of people that makes sense right?

- Number one rule batman doesn't kill people

- The only people that would understand the flash seen are hard-core fans him going back in time and telling batman about injustice

-Shoving down the Justice league down our throat when It had no place in the movie at the time it made no sense

- they introduce three villains in the movie plus everything else that's going on it's basically like 7 movies at one time .. Darkseid ,doomsday , steppenwolf

-Doomsday was that really doomsday? was (frank)ing Lex Luther son do I have to Say more ? (frank)ing doomsday (frank)ing doomsday (frank)ing doomsday The most iconic person that's kills superman they did in the first movie lol

-The reason they stopped fighting each other because (frank)ing Superman says Martha and Batman decides not to kill him and to become best friends are you (frank)ing kidding me ??

Here's me with an extremely unpopular take:

The David Lynch fim Dune is, to me, way better than the original Star Wars. Dune got panned by critics who found it too hard to follow, but that is precisely why I think it was better. Dune challenged the audience to actually think, and that turns off those with too simple capacity for processing serious themes...it may have been a rambling mess but it was a great adaptation of a seriously hardcore sci-fi novel.

Star Wars was simple, formulaic popcorn theatre in which boy loses everything, meets a mysterious stranger, gets a sword and fights bad guys with a cowboy. Dune's Paul Atreides leads an army, transforms himself to become a prescient savior of the oppressed, a God who can see the future and travel to any place in the universe without moving, simply by folding space.

I saw both when they first came out in theatres and still think both are way better than today's comic book films, maybe except for Dead Pool which was simply incredible.

Be on my side, ignore me, agree with me, that's cool.

Nobody was as good as Bale in my opinion. I didn't see BvS because couldn't stand the idea of Affleck being Batman and hated that Bale was no longer. Plus new director and writers too? I did like Man of Steel, if it is the same crew, but the darkness of the series with Bale was awesome. And Micael Caine and Morgan Freeman! Awesome. Poor Heath Ledger, he couldn't have possibly played the Joker better.

The only other movie I've seen him in was Lord of War. Oh, and Dallas Buyers Club.

Edit: I was way off. I forgot about Fight Club, Panic Room, American Psycho, Girl, Interrupted, Alexander, The Thin Red Line. I never did see Requiem for a Dream though.

Bale was the best Batman imo. I hope Suicide Squad doesn't disappoint. I go to see comic-y movies cuz my wife loves them mainly, but there have been some very good ones. Guardians of the Galaxy was a hoot.
