According to the Washington Post, the protests are being organized by a right wing pro gun group that thinks the NRA is too compromised on gun issues.

Meh...(and I'm not supporting Trump here) the actual price of oil is closer to the June contract, which last I saw as trading around 21-22$ a barrel. The problem here, is that traders almost never want to take delivery so they'll sell the contracts off to those suppliers and most likely roll into a different month's contract. Well, when those that store oil have no more space, they aren't going to buy your contract. If you're a hedge fund, do you want thousands of barrels of physical oil? Not a (frank)ing chance, so they're paying people to take it off their hands. And what are those people doing? Paying tanker companies about 125k a day to park of the shores of coutnry x,y, and z. Look at the stock prices for oil tanker companies.
