No I said you were confusing him with Lehner aka letting up a goal and deflating the team with his reaction.
Lehner never did the shoulder slump crap Miller did.
It is not what I meant. How the hell can you take me defending Lehner and spin it to saying if we had Miller we would be in the playoffs and not expect anyone with half a brain to compare Miller to Lehner last year?
Just stop. - Stripes77
Just stop please .. all I said is if Miller was here we'd be in the playoffs and that's true and you can't be robin Homer and say it's not true
of course you go right to the Miller of last year I'm talking about the Miller the old days but ofyou just do your thing.
And who cares if you did this shoulders slump what goalie doesn't do that ? Carey Price does it all the time |

The dude let in 3-4 goals a game but keep on defending him - GERBE!!!75PTS
so his GAA was between a 3.00 and 4.00... |

Do me a favor and go look at his stats and count how many games he let in three to four goals
Should be over 30 |

Ryan Miller only had two season in his entire career where his save percentage was better than Lehner's last season.
One of those was insane .929 so throw that out the window the other was .923 but still Miller would not have gotten this team last year into the playoffs. Goal tending was NOT the reason they didn't make the playoffs last year. If you think that you're even more clueless than I thought. |

the difference between lehner and miller that makes miller look good.. from 2005 to 2007 the sabres would score 6 goals a game when needed.. |

Those 2 seasons are complete anomalies just because how the game was called and played. Miller played well in those but those Sabres team would win 7-3 and nobody would care that 3 were scored against. |

Vezina Miller vs lehner today, I'd still pick lehner. Just checked by the way he had 14 games with 3 or more goals against. Not counting empty nets. Lehner is a good goalie, get over your bias. |

If he stays healthy and plays 82 I expect 28-30 goals.
If he misses his usual 10 or so games, and his shooting % goes back to his career avg, he will have about 20-24, give or take a goal or so. - sbroads24
You keep expecting his shooting percentage to go back to his career average, but you don't seem to be acknowledging that his higher percentage could be the new normal for him with a playmaker like Jack feeding him the puck. If a guy is threading perfect passes to you in great scoring position your percentage is going to be higher. I think many players could be successful playing on a line with Eichel, but not just anyone has the other intangibles that Kane does. You don't normally have guys as skilled as him that can also defend Eichel if they need to. I like your 2-year $12 million idea. I doubt Kane and his agent will though. |

Not counting the 2 short seasons and the 2 tank years the Sabres 201 goals scored were tied for the 2nd least they have scored all time with...the 2015-2016 season...
The least amount of goals scored in a regular season (full season non tank years) were 190 in 02-03
Hasek got more goal support than Lehner and company did the last two years... - Stripes77
