he got caught in no man's land, surprised by the shot. he should never have used that, from that angle and spot with kane attacking the net in a forward direction. all he needed to do was stay on his feet in that situation, or at worst, butterfly. - hammarby31
The problem there was the execution of the technique. He was late getting down, and the puck got to him while he was moving. The shot came from the correct area of the ice for using that technique, in my opinion. |

Any Duncan Keith or Shea Weber's for the 2nd round? - MJL
There's a guy who's ranked at #129 by the name of Brett Lernout who kind of jumped out at me.
"While his edge work needs some refining, he is an impressive skater skater for his stature (6'4, 205). Lernout is an intimidating presence on the ice as he's not afraid to get in the face of opponents and his 11 fights this season attest to both his willingness to fight and his fighting prowess."
Quotable: "Brett showed good improvement through the course of the season. A toolsy player with great size, strength and skating abilities. He's still raw but if given time to develop, he should become the type of physical defenseman that teams love to hate and hate to play against." - Scott McDougall |

I hear the Cavs want to fly in Exum for a last minute workout. Probably just a smokesreen. You may get your wish on Embiid to the Sixers. Although I think they go with Exum. Should be fun to watch tomorrow. Gonna be tons of activity with teams trying to clear cap space. |

I really hope they don't take McKeown, Ho-Sang, or Perlini... the guys with the low hockey IQ or who play soft absolutely infuriate me.
I realize that I'm in no way, shape, or form qualified to be a GM in this league (or any other), but if they do take one of those guys, its going to leave me praying for the next several years, and as a an agnostic.. i really won't know who to pray to... so please.. think of me, Hexy.. and don't draft any of those guys. Please? |

I would love Wiggins, just think it is gonna cost to much to trade up. I know you love Embiid, but this injury scares the hell out of me. After Bynum and Noel, don't know I can take another big man with a major injury. I like your pick of Stauskas at 10. The kid can shoot. |

Kudos to Bryan Dobzanski a local Jersey kid signed by the Cardinals for 700K. Should be a frigging Philly, but the Cardinals managed their pool money very well. |
