That's what I'm hoping, but coach beard acted like he wasnt sure why dahlin wasnt joining them.
Probably a bad communicator.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but if you are, he said that the decisions are made based on fatigue, injury and family, and that based on the conversation he had with Dahlin, they both agreed that it was in Dahlin's best interest to rest up and prepare to be even better for the Sabres next year. It's all in the interview |

So Grönborg wants Dahlin to be fresh and well rested for the start of the Sabres season. Hmmmm |

Hire the Beard or Keefe and be done with it. Offer Skinner 6 years at $8.25M and if he doesn’t except it then adios amigos. Draft Krebs or Boldy at 7 (unless Cozens or Turcotte falls) and bring in some veteran leadership and allow the kids to battle for spots and let the best man win. |

You really dont think the Sabres will be good?
Shed more dead weight
A new head coach should equal at least 5 wins or more
I find it hard to believe with our talent, that were not on the bubble or better. - Boss34
I think it will depend a lot on trade acquisitions. If we can flip guys like Okposo, Scandella and Bogo without paying a lot to be rid of them, we could improve immensely.
I just don't think that happens. I think after this year the cap opens for us again a bit, if we invest right that's when the window opens.
Olo - Eichel - Reinhart
Skinner - Mitts - Tage/Sheary
That top6 doesn't make the playoffs IMO. |

How would it be horrible .
a first line center / 2nd center that can take pressure off Casey and spread scoring around is a good idea and only 1 year older then skinner |

Because Mittelstadt won't need the "pressure" taken off him for that long. Even if it takes him 2 more years to grow into the role, you're going to be stuck with a contract you will most likely want to get out from under before it's half over. |

If it’s 9-9.5 per for Skinner(8yrs) or Duchene(6-7yrs), I’d lean towards Duchene.
Centers are easier to move no matter of contract than a winger IMO. It also allows the team to roll 4 lines as opposed to one line and 3 Island of Misfit toys lines. |

Thinking outside the box is a good thing.
Skinner or bust is an inside the box statement. Well done here. |

I agree. It feels like this team spends the last 30 games of every year disengaged. More motivation wouldn't require more skill. Greater execution during the first half of the season would keep us in the hunt later in the year. - Der Kaiser

A cup contending team is built from the blue line through the middle.
You just need you’re goalie(no matter ranking) to get hot at the right time. |

Maybe. Rice had a bunch of targets already. As did Moss. I'd assume the other guys as well. For reference, AB has had two seasons over 180 targets, all others around 150. Moss had 1 and another in 170, Jerry was steady at 150 targets per. I think what would influence it the most is PI calls and general DBs playing not as physical. |
