We talking Spencer Knight?!
There is only one place for him. The Rangers at 2. |

in reality I think the Spencer Knight rumblings are going to start with Detroit at 6
very unlikely they take him but they certainly could use him - jimbro83
I think the Panthers should take him. Even if they sign Bob, he might only have a few good years left. When Knight is ready in 3-4 years it'll be a smooth transition. |

That's and interesting question...what if the Devils are the ones who screw this up and take Spencer Knight number 1 overall.
1. Who do the Rangers pick at #2
2. Do the Devils sign Knight to a 15 year contract? - climbdenali12
If that happens, I foresee Knight with his own hockey show on MSG within about 8 years or so. |

With only 1 year left on the deal, flipping Marleau even if they have to hold back 50% shouldn't be that hard. If Marleau just wasn't horrendous last year, I would totally endorse a Smith for Marleau swap. It make sense. They save some cap room and maybe someone better suited for 4th line duties or an extra D, we gain cap hit with Marleau, but he's done in 1 year. - 2sticks1puck
I would take that deal |

Schneider fell off a cliff last year, so he would likely be an instant upgrade.
No way they pass on Hughes or Kakko. Agree that Detroit is the likely pick. |

I could see Devils using their 3 second round picks trying to get back into first round to have a crack at Knight if he really starts dropping
coming out of this draft with Hughes and Knight for them would be huge day |

Welcome to the early riser club. I could be out drinking, cant sleep past 6:30 to save me life.
I think this Leafs-Jets deal is legit. It makes perfect sense for both teams. I think they will have some difficulty moving Zaitsev. - 2sticks1puck

As much as I want the Devils, Flyers and Isles to suck, it will be nice to have a real local rivalry again. |

My favorite thing to do on the weekend is not setting the alarm. That's when I can catch up on some sleep. |

I actually prefer to be up as early as possible on the weekend. Makes it feel so much longer. During the week I drag my ass out of bed at the latest possible moment |

It would be a weird coincidence that the Nucks would have a huge day when the draft is in Jersey, and the Devs would have a huge draft with the draft in Vancouver. |

My wife gets up at 5 for work on Sunday, so I have Saturday nights to myself. I try to be in bed by midnight, usually get there by 2 or 3 and sleep until 11. |

I haven't had to set my alarm in years. Every once in awhile if I'm out somewhere on a work night and get home really late, I'll set an emergency alarm. I can't remember having truly ever needed it. I think one time I fell back asleep after getting ready once and the emergency saved me, but I'm usually up at 5 for a workday that starts hours later. It's just how my body rolls I guess. |

Ugh. I take pretty good care of myself via food and movement, but sleep is the one nutrient I can't get right. Feels like I really start to wake up at 9pm, which really sucks when I try to be in bed by 11. |

Yeah my GF loses her mind because, save for a night of heavy drinking (which is becoming rarer and rarer these days), I'm usually up around 6-6:30 on the weekends and she's a sleeper. |

I still think working third shift really wrecked me. I think I mentioned this before, but I worked 1-9. I'd basically split 50/50 my sleep, so when I finally took a job with normal hours a couple years ago, I was already preconditioned to sleep at like 9-10pm, the only difference is now I'm just sleeping through instead of waking up in a few hours to go to work.
If my dad was alive today, his jaw would drop to the floor. I really was that guy in my 20s who slept until noon. I would always get mad at him because if I needed to go to the store or whatever on the weekend, he'd wake me up at 7. Always told him the place is open all day. Now I literally do the same flippin thing, it's unreal. |
