Thanks Michael, guess I'll be the 1st to answer your question as everyone else is engrossed in their own issues.
I do not want Tanev back on this team, why you ask, ok my thoughts.
They guy is 34 next month, he has only ever played one 82 game season in 13-14 years in the NHL, (on average he misses 20 games a year) which means he can not be counted on to be healthy. He has played 12 games this year and has 2 assists and -4.
He was serviceable while here, really knew how to take punishing checks, (probably why he was always injured) but the team has moved on and Tavev would be a step backwards.

His style makes him prone to injuries. What a warrior though. I don't think he's fast enough anymore to play the style the Canucks are trying to establish. |
