Mike Augello: Leafs Get Blitzed In Buffalo; Sabres Chase Struggling Samsonov

The leafs have cap space available with klingberg out. They need to get better dmen but it can be used for a goalie if they wanted to.

Toronto just needs to game plan better when they play Buffalo.

The Sabres can't win back-to-back games and only show effort and structure against superior teams, but never in consecutive games.

So, game plan for next meeting: Rest starters and glide into victory if the Sabres are coming off a win or put forth an effort if they are coming off a loss. Especially an embarrassing one against a fellow bottom feeder.

Leafs took a lead and Lightning poop the bed early. I thought the Bolts would lose and the Leafs would win. Turned off the Lightning game to catch the Leafs action.

That decision didn't age well.

Samsosoft is not the answer. He's only hard for one game per season. The rest of the time he is flaccid AF. He's needs a little blue pill, not a blue sweater.

Glad I turned that off when it was 6-3.

Queefs need a goaler, stat. D is not pressing right now, a top 4D wouldn't have salvaged that game, it was destiny... Barfalo has our number right now, and coming off of an embarrassment like they did, you knew we were toast.

This was Barfalo's Stanley Cup... hell, it's a lot of teams' Stanley Cups... everybody gets up to play against the Leafs, it's why we have the toughest schedule in the league, year in, year out.

Toronto just needs to game plan better when they play Buffalo.

Leafs just can't beat Montreal, Ottawa or Buffalo...that's just how it rolls. Thankfully none will be in the playoffs this year.

Samsonite should pack his bags and ship out. I don’t care how much work he does with the goalie coach, he is so far lost I just can’t see him coming back! He looked like a beer league goalie out there! No he didn’t look like he needs to find his game, he looked like he’s been faking it, and now everybody knows, and once everybody knows you can’t go back to faking it!

As for Woll, yeah love him, but if the Leafs are praying for a quick return of a kid with maybe 25-30 games in the league, they are in trouble.

My super realistic Samsonov rubber mask fooled everyone and nobody knew it was really me the beer league hack playing for the Leafs last night.

Sorry about the poor performance, I was in awe at sick dangles, dirty snipes and lack of thick necks in warmups and I was unable to focus at all during the half of the game I played before Queef pulled me.

I was livid on the bench that nobody went out and just started pulling lawnmowers when it got out of hand. IF the Grim Reever was in the lineup he would have taken are of it and protected the softies and pencil necks who were skating around with their sticks on their knees.

Sammy and I arranged this as he had a couple last minute Christmas items he had asked Santa for but was worried Santa might not deliver such as:

1. His confidence
2. Timely saves
3. A new trapper with no holes in it
4. Some better D in front of him

Regardless i was found out and booted out of Buffalo by Guy Boucher so Leafs should be better come Sat.
