Did not see that coming. I wonder why Gauthier didn’t want to play in Philly? Too much pressure? Wussy!! |

They clearly know something that we don’t. Kids got loads of potential but never showed up to rookie camps. A good young rhd Is always nice but that kid looked like a star in the making |

If Drysdale stays healthy Flyers win this hands down. Trade an asset that didn’t want to come and get a great D back. I wasn’t impressed with what I saw from Cutter anyway. Good luck Cutter when you come to Philly to play lol. |

He showed up to 1 rookie camp but was prevented from doing so again by NCAA rules. |

C'mon! This is Anaheim's center position shortly: Carlsson-McTavish-Gauthier-Lundestrom. Zegras better get used to playing wing. Besides, the 2nd is the one the Ducks got from Boston in the Lindholm trade. Gauthier killed it in this past juniors tournament. - duxcup07
2nd round pick in 2025, Anaheim's pick.
Also if Cutter isn't in the top 6, he won't "cut it"...Not a bottom 6 kind of player. |

I believe Cutter is best suited as a winger. Great shot. Not sure if he was comfortable in the middle. |

I hope Gauthier is worth it. I don't know what kind of player he is, but Drysdale is a good puck moving defenseman. Verbeek probably just wants another shooter. And that logic is sound. It's just seems really early to make a move like this. |

The most exciting thing for me, Flyer fan, about Cutter was his quick release. I still think he is better off on the wing than center, but we will see.

Didn't Dahlin have injury concerns when he was younger?

30 or so years ago there was a highly touted first round draft pick who refused to sign with the team that drafted him. That team traded him for another highly touted draftee and a bunch of other assets (and cash). The holdout had a hall of fame career but never won a Stanley Cup. The “other” guy - Peter Forsberg - won 2 Stanley Cups. Jus sayin. |
