Players across the league will want to play here at a discount just to get a shot at the cup.
Awesome!

i think ryder actually played his way out of town, not going to get him on a discount
recchi will retire, raymond will be shown the door.
savard situation still up in the air, i don't think he'll play again unfortunately
seguin will get more minutes. only real spot will be for caron taking over for rex, with hamill / arniel the call ups.
room to add a dman for sure.
resign the russian goalie for providence baldy |

Rex is gone.
Ryder to Winnipeg for the cash. How about Joel Ward?
Savard money is coming off the cap and the cap is going up a bit.
Marchand will get a hefty raise....I'm guessing around 2.5 to 3 million per
I want Doan! I want somebody who is hungry for a cup, who was born to wear black and gold, and who can add leadership.
I want a project for cheap(Kariya)
And I want a better defenseman in Kaberle's spot(I'd love to have Yandle back there, but he's just an RFA and will be expensive. This is where I usually say Jovo )
Yeah, I want 3 Coyotes and a friend of PK's to be Bruins. |

I think Caron needs to be given every opportunity to make the team before we spend $$ we don't have to.
I know Hamill made strides this year but he is a rfa and their are only so many contracts to go around. It will be interesting to see if they feel he has done enough to warrant resigning him. |

I'd spend big on D before even thinking about overpaying Laich. I like the dude, but money better spent elsewhere IMO. |

Would any of you consider moving Tuukka if we got Yandle in return?
the reason I ask is Tuukka's name came up as a possible replacement for Bryz on TSN. They didn't specifically mention Yandle, but he's going to want a raise, and PHX is on a tight budget. |

I was thinking about that when they moved Bryzgalov. PC would need to lock up on that Khudobin kid. Yandle would be the only piece I'd move 2U's for I think, would be a good straight up hockey deal, hate to give him up, but Yandle's a beast. Can't see PHX being too keen on moving him either. |

I grew up in Boston, I have naturally low standards. I'm allergic to cats so it would be a one nighter walk of shame for her |

Dwn here, you have to look at the up and comers, and guys like Turco onthe downside of their career.
PHX loves this kid, but if he wants too much, with the ownership situation, it might happen.
I think I do it if offered. |

looks to be a slow off-season for the bald one.
recchi gone, savard most likely done, ryder doubtful, tomas raymond doubtful...
would love to see pikanen next to boychuk but i don't know how realistic that is.
maybe wiz next to chara and move the german next to boychuk? they should have some $ to play with.

Trade prospects and picks to PHX for Doan since he is close to Ryders cap hit
Recchi's money goes to Marchand
Jovo for Kaberle's cap hit since he is still chasing a cup
Joel Ward from Nashville would look good as a Bruin.
I want some players who haven't won a cup to be hungry for it and add to the mix. Maybe take a shot on Kariya if he wants to come back for cheap.
Savard is done forever. Weird that we didnt' see him last night. Is he really that bad now?
