Lollll coool story. Difference is, if Tavares is an Oiler, you're a playoff team, but he isn't and you're not. Not a fan anywhere outside of Edmonton says "i'd rather have Hall" and thats a fact. You'll see with the defining roles on the Olympic team, just how close Tavares is to being the best in the world. He's among the best, Halls not even close, at least at this point.

Go... Survey fans throughout the league.

Let's see what Hall does this year if Eberle and RNH are healthy instead of injured.

Andddddddd...

PPG per year:

Hall 1st season: 0.65
Tavares 1st season: 0.65

Hall 2nd season: 0.86
Tavares 2nd season: 0.85

Hall 3rd season: 1.11
Tavares 3rd season: 0.99

Hall 4th season: ??
Tavares 4th season: 0.98

All while having a better plus/minus on a sh1ttier team.

The leaf fan said it and the Sabre fan said 100% agree. You're the only one arguing this. Find a non oiler fan that agrees with you.

Tavares is headed towards a 120 point season this year..his dominance in the playoffs are proof of that..Hall is still getting better no doubt..but he is not at the level of Tavares..right now anyways

Tavares is more established, because he has been in the NHL a year longer. Fans who do not follow both teams, will understandably say Tavares is better. However, for those who actually look at the stats, and follow both players closely... It'll be pretty much split down the middle. People who say that Hall is nowhere near as good as Tavares are absolutely nuts, and they obviously HAVEN'T seen Hall play. Some people will use Eberle and RNH as a reason why Hall had better numbers last year... BS. Eberle and RNH were pretty much non factors last season as both were injured.

to be fair he did that against fleury and the pens defense, who hasnt shown that they can stop a beachball

tavaras is very good but you cant base it on one playoff series where the pens make bryzgoalov look good (last years playoffs)
