Sorry buddy but you're lying to yourself if you think his contract and playing time have nothing to do with his last name. Not one other player on the team in the last 3 years has enjoyed the stability he has in terms of line mates. He escapes the scrutiny of the french media and usually gets heaps of praise for things a regular player wouldn't get praised for, like barely adequate defensive play.

Like I said, if the guy's name was Sean Stevens, from Thunder Bay, he'd be playing 14 minutes a night, with nearly no PP time and wouldn't even get to sniff Pacioretty's jock strap.
