Yeah, for awhile I wouldn't have considered getting rid of Lee, but the addition of Ladd as a big body that can play in front of the net makes Lee expendable.

I would also like to see Beauvi keep rolling with JT. They looked, obviously, a hair out of sync last night but there was/would have been 2 or 3 really, really solid scoring chance. I'd like to see where that goes.

Beau looked better with jt then Ladd did and I agree on Lee he gets the puck and it's like he's skating in sand he really hasn't brought anything to the table at least Ladd has had chances.

I'm also tired of this team giving up late goals all the time. I understand it was on the PP but still, its like you know its coming and I find myself just waiting for that goal at the end and like clock work it usually comes

I listened to that on the radio and king said he comes the best pk in the league at 95% and I thought he jinxed it

They aren't killing every penalty but I know as soon as they took that penalty the habs were gonna score

Weber bombed that shot from the point. The PK was sloppy and not a goaltender in the league was going to stop that one. Hamonic probably would have died if he blocked it like he tried to.

At the end of the day, they ran into a team that is undefeated in regulation. The Habs played really well and the Isles played well in spots but the 2nd period is what really killed them.

Should have fired up that line blender halfway through the second.

If Beauvillier would have been able to lift that shot that he missed into the empty net it would have been a different story.

I heard he hit post or was just off angle and sounded like they were getting good pressure before penalty

Wide open net rushed the backhand. It wasn't the best angle but he should have buried it. Not blaming him at all because he is all over the place hustling. Love this kid

I really wanted barzal but this kid is like cizikas but with more talent his legs never stop moving he's a 200ft player hits blocks all around complete player. Barzal I think will score more but is more offensive like a jt not great in d zone at least not yet

Some of the passes this kid has made have been really impressive. I honestly think this kid has some serious skill to go along with his tenacity.

Agreed now let's hope barzal comes around if not this year next and jhs plays well so we have some secondary scoring that 18 27 and 29 haven't fulfilled or at least consistently

I expect Barzal to go back to juniors shortly. That's not a knock but they have 4 pretty good centers right now. Let him dominate back in juniors and let him play in the Ahl playoffs after the season is over. He can play in the ahl after competing 4 years in Juniors even if he isn't 20 yet.

I think they might be waiting to send Barzal back to see how Ho Sang fares in the AHL. He's already got 3a (no goals) in 4gp, so a few more looks and I wouldn't be overly surprised to see them send Barzal back and call up Ho Sang.

I disagree. Prince & Kuli will be back soon. Barzal to Juniors and Quine & Prince will rotate being the extra forward IMO. I can see Ho-Sang getting called up much later in the season if need be. Just what I think might happen.

It's entirely possible, but they are severely lacking a player with Ho Sang's skill-set.

One thing that I, mostly, agree with Rick on is that there is a redundancy with Prince/Quine. They're similar players, but I'd give the edge to Quine in both skill and versatility. He can play center/wing, whereas Prince is only a winger. I like them both because they bust their ass...but I see no real reason to have both of them on the active roster.

I just think they are afraid to rush Ho-Sang. I mean if they continue to struggle for offense I can see that scenario but I'm not holding my breath on it

I said that in the offseason that having both them in the top 12 was a disaster

I don't think it's a disaster, just that it's kind of unnecessary. Neither is bad, just very similar.

Assuming Barzal goes back, I could live with something like:

72-91-12
16-29-18
11-10-25
86-53-15

Two fringe players cracking your top 12 when you keep telling everybody you're a serious contender is a disaster to me

I mean, every team has "fringe players" in their bottom 6. We have the luxury of a really good "fourth" (I (frank)ing hate line number designations, btw) line so really our "third" line is the "worst".

I'm exaggerating with Disaster but I don't like having both of them in the lineup. I'm more fed up with Lee
