it's all about the pivot. when called out or if the situation changes, you move on to the next deflection.
never acknowledge the past, deflect and move on...
so with respect to the virus... it's a foreign made virus that foreigners coming into north america are bringing.
that and amp up the conspiracies: china with help from george soros, hillary clinton and the illuminati are trying to bring down america and our dear leader. all heil dear leader. bless and protect the great pumpkin.

St-John and back twice at 168, Edmundston and back 3 times at 250 miles each way. I now have a cold and some muscle pain so i've booked sick while I wait and see what happens.

How long are your shifts? Do you get to sleep during long hauls like aircraft pilots?

Max 12 hours then mandatory rest. Work trains max 16 hours. We aren't supposed to sleep at all unless we're travelling by deadhead ( going from one location to protect a train at another location ). The company was kind enough to put us on the (frank)ing bus a few days ago, utterly irresponsible.

Had never seen Contagion until a few hours ago. Seemed like an appropriate movie to watch. If you haven't seen it, certainly worth watching with this going on.

We were going to hold off on those types of movies but after spending the afternoon building a garden we feel positive enough to check it out after dinner.
We have 12 yards of top soil sitting on our driveway.

I'm jealous. I can garden at my place but I have a rather large dog that mostly patrols the back yard. I have a couple of 4x12 plots back there but he's probably 140 lbs and nearly 2 years old. I can't take too much of the backyard away from him.
We're about to begin seedlings indoors but growing outside is 2 months aways. I do have a peach tree and a cherry tree in my front yard which i hope to reap benefits from soon but with the mild spring start I worry about frost later in the season. I may have to cover.
We grow berries, tomatoes, lettuces, squash, peppers, corn, cruciferous vegetables, carrots . Seeing as how we live in the city growing space is limited. The kids think it's great growing what you eat and are eager towards the garden even when it comes time to do a bit of work.
I'm thinking of tilling the boulevard in front of my home and planting wild flowers. Much less maintenance and more beautiful, also providing some sanctuary for bees.

Our 13 pound Jack Russell Terrier is less of a concern.
No veg just perennials and trees. We planted a pink dogwood and a maple (Jordan) in the front. In the back we planted 2 Himilayan Birch, a Dawn Redwood, a dogwood and 2 other maples(Attaryi). We plan on adding some rhodos, lilac, ceanothis and a variety of wild flowers, also with bees in mind.
My wife is doing the heavy lifting as my arthritis makes me pretty useless. I must admit that it is very therapeutic creating something and a nice way to get to know our neighbours better.
