I like Yeo but I do think he is part of the problem. One thing I noticed that really has bothered me is Tarasenko's demeanor on the ice. I have seen him a couple times smiling, laughing and joking around when the team is losing and getting smoked. I just think there should be nobody looking happy and carefree when the team is losing. I am sure others have noticed.

A lot of Minnesota fans said the same thing about Yeo: "He isn't the problem. The PP stinks because of the powerplay coach, ect..." I think at some point it has to come back squarely on him. The same problems that exist on the Blues existed with the Wild. Epic collapses, powerplay problems, poor lineup decisions, and odd personal choices for OT. Sorry Blues fans it will be more of the same for the next few years if he's retained.

At the end of the day, the coach is responsible for his assistant/associate coaches. If they are not getting the job done, he needs to take over or change their responsibilities or get them to change their strategy with the last resort convincing the team to change them out.

It could be an emotional pre-game in Colorado for some. You would have to think that the Avs will do something related to the Humboldt accident especially given Joe Sakic survived the Swift Current Broncos bus crash years ago.

Schenn is from Saskatchewan as is the Avs Blake Comeau.

Sad news to learn that half of the players and coaches died with 3 more still in critical condition.
