What's your opinion on Bernard Docker?

Seemed like a reach, but I've read the Sens scouts were high on him, and they were able gain another pick out it which is nice.

Going to do a write up on some of the Canadian teams. I'm a bit confused by that pick, but haven't seen him enough to get a handle on it. Especially with a lot of good defensemen still on the board around him. As a rule I'm not a big fan of drafting out of the Junior A leagues in Canada.

I am pretty impressed with the confidence Dorion had. Taking so many guys out of Junior A or obscure leagues like the NAHL. Seemed to have a list and stuck to it. Like the Gruden pick that late.

I dont think LA resigned Reider as he would likely cost to much. Shafigullin's stats with the men didnt look good at all. His stats with other boys was amazing. But maybe you have some other insight on this?

In the KHL it's extremely rare for 17/18 year olds to play more than 4-9 minutes a game. Those that do are your Kuznetsov/Tarasenko level players. To put some perspective Shafigullin is the 12th highest PPG in MHL history for U19 players.

Now the caveat is that Reaktor Nizhnekamsk is in the weak Eastern Division that excludes CSKA, SKA and Yaroslavl.
