Paul,
It might be a good signing, but does he help us win a playoff series? Is he the guy that can take us to the finals?
We lost two serviceable players, replaced one of them with someone better (we think), and got a hundred 2-way contract players to be the 6/7 d-man, maybe. I guess I'm jaded a little, but this team needed offense that doesn't disappear in the playoffs desperately, and now the only thing we have to do between now and training camp is speculate on whether we can sign Bob and Breadman to extensions and look forward to another exciting season to see if we can somehow barely sneak in the playoffs and lose to Pittsburgh, Washington, or anyone of six or seven other teams in the Eastern Conference in the first round.
It's been a lousy day to be an Ohio sports fan, the Reds are terrible, the Indians are barely leading the worst division in baseball, LeBron James is now a stinking Laker, and the Browns might win three games this season if they can beat the Bengals twice. And some leftist spoiled-brat rich guy wants to take the Crew (one of the the foundation teams of MLS) to a dumpy Texas town where HS Football will outdraw MLS, and he planned to do it the second he bought the team from the league while lying like a rug to everyone and neglecting his team and stadium.
Go CBJ, get to that red-line of 96 points. Rah.
