Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bruins getting to the final next year, sometimes it's the teams that don't do a lot that gel and do very well. Marchand seems committed to cutting out the distracting play a bit and focusing on winning. Could also see it happening for the Sharks.

Marchand seemed just fine last year, was one of the best players in the league. He shouldn’t change much of his game/mentality.

If thats the package. I would rather go after Panarin or Simmonds. But Im in on Skinner just not that much.

I think there’s a real chance the team takes a step back next year. After missing out on J.T. and Kovy it sounds like they’re gonna try to fill out the roster internally. I would definitely rather do that than overpay for a guy who doesn’t fit but I could see it leading to regression, especially with how loaded Toronto and Tampa look

agreed. I like the trajectory the team is on but before last year basically every pundit and observer thought the Bruins were a bubble playoff team.

I think they remain a playoff team as they are but with two of the best teams in the league in the same division it's not going to be a cake walk whatsoever.

Bjork looked ok in that role before he was hurt last season. Need to spread out the scoring I suppose.

Not sure if Kuraly can really play 3rd line Center, dont get me wrong he had a great year but their offense may take a big hit on that 3rd line. basically I guess your switching Kuraly for R.Nash, They could really use a guy like Skinner in that top 6

I actually really like that top 6... but it's hugely dependent on one of Bjork, Donato, or Heinen grabbing that role and running with it. But between one of those three guys, I think they could possibly make it work, even if it's a platoon setup and those guys cycle through that spot.

I'm with you on Kuraly as a 3rd line C... I think he's a 4th line C... I don't think he's really well suited to slide up into that 3C spot. That 3rd line would be pretty worrisome with Kuraly and Backes IMO. Losing (Riley) Nash sucks.

Blidh did not impress at all last season. He skated around looking to be a rat and not a very good one either.
He better pick it up or he's one and done in Providence.
Kuraly has a much better chance, especially if he hits the weight room and watches how Debrusk fights for the puck.

Don't worry, we still have Chara on the top pairing... we're set for the next 8-10 years.

Honestly, I'm just hoping Sweeney doesn't start to hyperventilate and give up too much for a guy like Skinner.
