This year bottom but with flashes of youth talent, next year bubble team as they produce more consistent.

That's pretty much how I see it, too.
There will be growing pains but the excitement of new players seeing some playing time should mitigate some of the poundings this team will take. I think they will finish bottom 3 this year but start getting stronger with each season after.
Hopefully only one more year of hating.

I'm kind of hoping we have a year like arizona last year, struggle at the start and then finish the year really strong as all the new parts find chemistry. Maybe at that point we've called up Demko and some other kids and we can ridethe wave into the following year. I have Arizona as a bubble team, I know this opinion will not be popular but their stats from january to April do not lie.

I use to say Canucks gave up as many as they scored when Sedins played.Good offensively terrible defensively.

I think it could go either way . If players like Jake Bo and Brock improve then it won't be as bad as expected.

It could also come down to if Hughes signs then you might see more transition and breakouts from the back end.

I don't care that Canucks didn't get involved with the Hawks on the Hossa deal .

I wish Benning actually offered Sven to Yotes to take Eriksson

Two solid prospects and a 3rd rounder... looks pretty good to me.

We already have 2 solid prospects. I believe we have 6 Hinostroza type prospects already. Keep the capsace for a better offer .

They also gave up a fifth to move to a third

We have zero ppg players in the AHL actually. I wish
He's done better than Boucher in the NHL, his only comparable of ours.

I'm not going to project the team, but I could see Bo get 30+, Boeser 30+, and EP 25+ this season. hard to say what anyone else will do. JV/Sutter 15+ each maybe?

Had to reach pretty low hey? Leipsic is a NHL player not a AHL player. Jasek and Dahlen come on now.

Hinostroza played 23 games in the AHL last year 22 points Not like there is a long history of him being a PPG in the AHL The year before he was .500

#penguins re-sign D Jamie Oleksiak to a three-year contract.
Deal runs through the 2020-21 campaign and carries an average annual value of $2,137,500.

I wonder what Stecher thinks of that

Ya and last year he was .5 at the NHL level. Like I said, we don't have much of that.

Saad usually puts up good numbers and had respectful numbers last year on a slow year. Only one player had more goals than Saad on the Yotes last year.

Another prospect I'm " jacked" about is Jack Rathbone. Another offensive Torey Krug type d-man. Set to play at Harvard. Probably 3 years away though.
