We get it, you want Giroux at center. Most of us disagree. The coach could have moved Giroux at any time last season, especially in the 2nd half when Filppula was fading fast and not giving us much of anything at 3C. He didn’t. That tells me Hak sees Giroux as a center. The signing of JVR, IMO, has much more to do with the Flyers not being sure that Lindblom can be a top 6 winger at the NHL level than it does with moving Giroux to center.

The signing of JVR will also bolster the power play which certainly isn’t a bad thing either.

Here’s the thing, you can propose moving Giroux to center a million times a day but it’s not going change the fact that he just had a Hart trophy level season playing left wing. He’s gonna play wing. Sure injuries could certainly change the plan, but the odds are very high that he will be a LW from now on.

When someone is damned for giving a different of opinion that differs from the rest of the group and makes that his point, yes, that makes most of you Sheep just following the herd.

Hey man, anyone that want good hockey discussion on Flyers or NHL you should contact me, I could help you win a few hockey pools.
