I don't think there is any doubt that Lindblom is going to be a solid NHL player. - MJL
This is not the SEL. Lindblom had two goals in a combined 27 games, hmm. 16 goals in 54 ahl games, but I will give you he was a good pick for a fifth rounder. I mean Tocchett was a fifth rounder but Lindblom will never be a Tocchett. He may not even make it. One thing for sure he will get a better chance than Vecchione even though Vechionne may be better? |

Thank you Mr. Hextall, time will tell. Stop repeating yourself, so annoying. |

Its early to say either way but I think he has the tools to stick in the league. The question is will he develop into the top 6 caliber player many are hoping him to be. I see him likely being a 3rd liner who they hopefully can develop into a solid PK player as well. I know a lot of people want him to be a Simmonds type on PP2 but I'm not sure how much PP time he'll see in the near future with the addition of JVR. |

Agreed, third line likely. I would like to see Giroux, Voracek, Couturier, Konecny, JVR and Patrick in the top six... Simmonds on line 3 with Weal and Lindblom Laughton, Raffl and whoever fits best on line four. |

Ron Hextall is. One of his comments made when he signed James Van Reimsdyk was he doesn’t know where G is going to play. So clearly Hextall as a GM and fan has thought about it.

I’m with SuperSchenn on this. Not that I think it’s going to happen but it is a possibility. I wouldn’t even call it a long shot. Just not the most likely thing to happen. I mean how many people called for him to be moved to wing paired with Coots on the top line? Hak is anything but traditional. He drives people on here crazy and I wouldn’t put it past him to solve the third line C by sliding G back in the middle. |

Unfortunately you are right. He moved Konecny when he was red hot off the first line in favour of Raffl to balance the scoring, imo that was absurd. Yeah Raffl got a goal but TK would have had two. Konecny's confidence to a huge hit and his valuable ice time dropped of be several minutes a game. Only MJL would agree with Hakstol. |

I remember that. (frank)ing brutal move. Raffl needs to be fired into the sun.

Hak made the move that put G on the wing also. He has made some head scratchers but he has a better hockey mind then most of us. Still waiting on him. Need to see what he can do with a great team under him. |

Is there really a rumor that the Sixers are looking to get the Spurs GM as part of the Kawhi trade?
The NBA is (frank)ing nuts. I mean even if they aren't looking at their GM the fact that this is something that is theoretically allowed... |

That's definitely absurd too. But the GM? Can he just trade himself away with the team's superstar player? Could you imagine? |

I see it this way. Think how great our team if we had a nhl calibre coach? The only positive for me was moving G to lw, that was brilliant and maybe just lucky. He does not appear to have any respect from the refs and quite often just looks lost. How many years do you have to wait? This is a star studded top six, a couple really good dmen but Hextall has to do better getting a starting goalie and stop picking up garbabe like Lehtera. Trading Schenn still irks me unless he was getting an equivalent dman or goalie back. He could have done a three way with a western team to get Grubauer for example. He does not think past his nose. |
