Heres a good drinking game, any time tanner talks about something non hockey related in one of his blogs. If you wrote for a more legitimate hockey website i think you would lose your mind trying not to talk about a bunch of no name bands and children's movies.

Yep. He also commented on his last blog "I actually think there is a time when you should sell your best players. Two years left on a deal and he hasn't really started to decline at all, i think you can make some real gains..." about 15 minutes before posting a blog saying Senators shouldn't trade Karlsson, you don't trade your best player for prospects, etc. And this with Washington in a win now mode, and Ottawa rebuilding.

It's not just that his views have no logic to them; they also have no consistency.

Its the truth. First thing I do in the morning is put on a record, music in the car, music all day at work, when I get home, while we eat, after dinner.......only time there is no music on is if we're watching TV.

I am 90% of the time, the only one in the office, so there is music all day.

Plus- good take on the Hamilton trade
Minus- snowflake music

PLUS: The NHL's off-season has been almost as fun as it's regular season. Tavares signed with the Leafs, Karlsson has been on and off and on the block all summer and Carolina and Buffalo each made a huge trade. Good times !

What Offseason have you been watching? Aside from the John Tavares fiasco nothing has happened this offseason that has been remotely interesting.

MINUS: The Firing of Garth Snow. I was one of Snow's only supporters. I think he was creative, smart, bold and not adverse to risk. I think he was to NHL GM-ing as I am to NHL-writing. By which I mean underrated and brilliant.

PLUS: I just want to say that Marc Bergevin is amazing.

How did he leave money on the table when he receives insane bonuses? He gets a total of 30 mill just for being on the team July 1st of this year and next.

The Arctic Monkeys album is really good. The first 6 songs are absolutely magic, after that it goes a bit down, but definitely an instant classic. Wow, they are one of the few 'indie bands' that still remain and only get better (I share them in the category as they got popular at the same time as the killers, bloc party, kaiser chiefs, etc.)
