24 seems like a good enough amount of time to evaluate if they should move on from a player or not,

I'm okay with this, adds to our young player/ prospect depth. We can still say we got a bit more for Spezza.

Not a really big signing but not bad

Tavares was going to sign in Ottawa but backed out when he heard you welched on a bet and refused to delete your account.

According to TSN back in Feb,

Ottawa's top prospects (in order) are:

1. Batherson
2. Brown
3. Chlapik
4. Formenton
5. Jaros

Graduated are:
Chabot (top pairing D-man, likely not franchise or perennial all star like EK)
White (top 6 guy with jam; could turn into a SOLID 200ft player but jury still out on that, could just become a 2nd line lifer that only ever compliments guys on the top line)

You have cursed the Sens with your actions. The hockey Gods do not look kindly upon welching. Look at what has happened since. This is on you. If you delete your account, Tavares demands a trade to Ottawa, Karlsson re-signs at home town discount, Duchene and Stone sign long term, Melnyk sells the team to Elon Musk who builds a hyperloop connecting the downtown core to the arena, and Spatso gets a six figure job blogging for the Sens/trolling the Leafs and can finally afford to move out of his mom's basement.

This could be your future. It all starts when you delete your account.

Geepers creepers, someone's coffee is strong this morning!

I do like the hyperloop idea, though. And Karlsson re-signing.

Really? If true, could be that a trade finally took place.

His face is still on the website, though.

They took down a poster for Iphone X, that featured Karlsson, and replaced in with a MacBook poster.....they didnt' take down his "team picture" around the building.

Really? out of every billionaire out there you choose Elon Musk? If James Bond was real, Musk would be a Bond villain. That's just going from an owner who's cheap to an owner who's full on crazy.

I'd much rather a Bill Gates or someone like that.

All the other ideas sounds great lol

Players are signing with Ottawa? Why?

Over under on Ottawa getting 60 points this year?

Also, odds of CO drafting Quinton Hughes next summer?

For funsies, everyone name one thing that could go wrong and make this year even more miserable. Already off the table; GM with sexual harassment charges, interpersonal conflict in the locker room and no calling traiding the best defenseman for pennies on the dollar, too easy.

I’m going with Duchenne making a public request for a trade

Elon Musk - the guy who built one of the most vital tools for ecommerce, is doing more to make electric vehicles a thing than pretty much anyone ever, who's helping natural disaster-stricken areas with power, and who's company is putting space agencies to shame and kick-starting a future space age...

He's your bond villain?

is it because he called a guy a pedo?

I love how ONE GUY blasted Musk, saying that the sub to save the soccer players was nothing but a publicity stunt, and all of a sudden he's a bad guy.

I listened to the interview with that British ex-pat who called Musk out, and forgetting the fact that he did help save those kids, he really comes across as an ass hat in those interviews.

In the last decade, Elon Musk has done more to try and help improve this world than pretty much anyone in the last century. people often point to the fact that he's gotten very rich doing it, which is true, but he could have gotten WAAAAAYYYYYYYY richer but instead chose to make the designs for his tesla engines public for anyone to use......and he basically funds SpaceX from his own pocket.

I don't give 2 (frank)s if he said a couple of things on twitter that weren't "perfect".....that in no way undoes all the incredible things he's done.

Elon Musk, the guy who thinks he owns his wife. literally admitting to saying “I am the alpha in this relationship” to her on their wedding day.

The guy who said "I want to go to space" so he went and tried to purchased expired USSR rockets instead of getting properly certified first. It's on the up and up now but in the beginning it was so shady.

The EV vehicles, I couldn't care less. I've driven them.... Boring, over priced, no road feel, not reliable, no range and could catch fire at any moment. I'll take a gas powered vehicle that is inspiring to drive, fun and reliable any day.

Among many other things obviously

Some people view him like some sort of saint, others as an elitist stuck up a**hole.

Personally, I kind of go both ways. There are good and bad things to everyone. For me, I love his roof tiles that are solar panels, I think that's a great idea and I can recognize some of the great things he has done. I couldn't care less if he got rich doing it, if some is successful at something.... Good on them.

I like some of the things he does, but as a person I think he's full on crazy.

But in terms of owning a sports team, there are Billionaires who would be a better fit than musk would be. I could see Bill Gates... His wife owns a house in Rideau Forrest. The guy who owns Cirque Du Soleil, among a few others.

I love our prospect pool, I may be over valuing some but I think they could all be difference makers in the NHL fairly soon.

They only one i'm confused about really is Gagne, I've never understood why they haven't given him a chance in the NHL. The guy can score.

go back through history, and most people who made great, world changing accomplishments, were thought to be bat-poop crazy in a sense....Einstein, Edison, Tesla, Newton, etc

people who aren't a little nuts dont' usually think outside the box enough to change things or move the world forward.

I agree, but not all of those people were known as being "Bad" people either and it was also different times. I mean heck even Hilter did great things for the German Economy before WW2.

All I'm saying is that I think there are better people out there to own an NHL Franchise.

And that IMO if James Bond was a real person. Musk would be the perfect real life example of a Bond Villion.... Likely for Piece Brosnan's bond lol
