If Pacioretty starts the season with the team, they should attend. Unless their PR team is even more incompetent than before... They need to just fake it if they want to avoid the circus

Habs don't want to give him 8M over 7/8 years like he wants and most teams won't pay much for him in a trade knowing he will ask ridiculous numbers for his next contract and will most likely be a UFA next summer. The guy is never a difference maker when it counts.

Of course he wants to remain a Habs, Bergevin is known to throw money at players because of public pressure.
