I don't hate RoR, if that's what you got from my comment. I think he's a really good player. But, my examples would stem from those inside the locker room who said, he was creating a riff between the players; those in his camp, and those in Jacks. It's also well known about his issues in Colorado, about him not being happy Landy was given the C. This reputation of him not being happy unless he's "the guy" seems to follow him around. Maybe those rumors are true, maybe some aren't. I think it's best for our club moving forward that he was moved.

Even Homie said that Jack was acting like a punk though too and the Vets didn’t appreciate it

Remember how last year at this time we were discussing Jack & the feud he was having with Gorges?

Seems to me like their was plenty of blame to go around for the locker room stuff

It’s kind of surprising to me that Jack & ROR couldn’t work out whatever their deal was
But if it was that bad that we had to move someone, obviously it was gonna be O’Reilly out the door

Just sucks bc we’d be a much better team right now if we still had him

Oh well, it is what it is
Hopefully Berglund can play well enough defensively & chip in a bit scoring for ya

They weren't popular with European forces in ww1 because many of them found the gun large and the recoil extreme. However the US used them through Vietnam

What my comment means is that you and many other people in these boards that start from a simple innocuous statement "I lost my passion" and exaggerate that to "he thru (or even threw) fits" without any reliable information to back it up. Or, for that matter, "those inside the locker room who said he created a riff" without knowing whether that was even true, or if it was, what the root of the disagreement was.

Let's say there was a disagreeement. What it it's true that Jack ran a little too often with Kane and got a bit too far into the nightlife, and ROR didn't like that. Take it a step further and say his disapproval of Jack's choices caused a RIFT in the lockerroom. Does that make ROR a villain? Does that mean he "has to go?" Because that's the treatment he got in these boards.

And I'm not ready to make any of those conclusions. Especially when other players on this team behaved in nearly exactly the same way.

- Der Kaiser

Fair points. But can you really deny that there were rumors of RoR not getting along with players in our locker and there were also rumors of him not getting along with players in the Colorado locker room? Where's there's smoke, there's usually fire. Whether any of these rumors are true, who knows, but there seems to be similar rumors about him that have followed him to 2 clubs.

He’s not a very fair player but Maybe He’s turning the page and starting fresh doesn’t everyone deserve that opportunity
- gerbe75pts

Yes. He does deserve that, I admit. Just makes me seeing a guy get paid millions to act like a preteen. I will hold further criticism at bay though as you rightfully suggest.

It's actually still in active service in certain units. The Marines still use a variant.

But if his attitude didn’t change and he hasn’t turned a page don’t worry about it players like that will lose all their money

I know he has that reputation from his days with the Av. I just get the sense that a lot of this stuff - like many highschool beefs - devolves into two sides who are both far from "right" and the winner is simply the more popular kid.

You'd probably be sweating like that too if you had that much body hair, under those lights, jumping around like you're constantly being zapped.

Also, drugs.
