In all seriousness I think he could develop into a 1C in the AHL
- CanuckDon

I think Gaunce makes the team over Granlund. If Granlund can’t crack the top 6, he is waiver/trade bait.

Goldobin Horvat Boeser
Baertschi Pettersson Eriksson
Roussel Sutter Virtanen
Schaller Beagle Granlund
Gagner

Edler Gudbranson
Hutton Tanev
MDZ Stecher
Pouliot

It's all about the learning to tank.

Really? Gaunce has the same amount of career points as Granlund had last season in 53 games.

Gaunce is better value than Beagle.
- Marwood

Gaunce should be the captain instead of Horvat. The team is going to be bad and the mean reporters will have a tougher time asking mean questions looking at Brendan’s sad puppy dog eyes then Bo’s blue steel.

Two more tanks and Vantel can finally proclaim, six years after he said it the first time, "the rebuild is pretty much over".

Gaunce is a better defensive forward than Granlund, I think Beagle will actually be the 3rd line C, leaving Gaunce and Schaller to play with Gaudette. If Granlund can’t contribute in an offensive role I don’t think there will be room for him because I don’t believe Benning will be true to his word - I.e. Gagner will not be waived or traded.

The league is about scoring, even 4th liners have to score. Brendan Gaunce has 12 points in 114 games. Unless a miracle happens and Gaunce is using Tanev's shooting coach or as usual Van has about 20 injuries before the start of the season. I really see no scenario that doesn't involve Gaunce going on waivers. Beagle is 30 something years old and mainly plays defence. He had 22 points last season.

Sergei Shirokov can mentor and tell Dmitri Zhukenov and Artyom Manukyan on how great Vancouver is.

Oh yeah, that's right, it was Fedorov... though Shirokov is the same, both entitled useless Russians that weren't good enough for the NHL.

Also says the Canucks really wanted a dman in this draft since they think next season will be Forward-heavy

Next season does look forward heavy but where and when did he say this?

Van should also pick up another 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th round pick for next season so they can trade up.
