Relax. We hear this every year and not just from Garth, plenty of Sabres fans believe this is the year, just like many said it last year. Just like last year tho, It isn’t. The team still stinks, too many missing pieces and some of the right ones need some development time.
I will say this is the last year in a long time the Sabres miss the playoffs.

Hey Garth, just like Vladdy Guerrero, Rasmus Dahlin and all the other players in Buffalo , they play on minor league teams and their goal is too finally make it to the pros in Toronto. Well if the Bison and Sabre players work hard enough, they can achieve their goals of coming to Toronto. There is room for the Bison players as the Blue Jays are in transition but I think the Sabre players will have a hard time cracking that Leafs lineup and will have to stay in the Buffalo minor league Sabres team for a while.

Video games, chicken wings and a ceremonial pitch. What are Leafs fans supposed to be upset about? Where are Nylander, Marner, Matthews, Tavares when we need them? They'll be on the ice giving the Sabres matchup nightmares all season.

I agree. They should just make Buffalo the Leafs NHL affiliate.
