I don't like the Bruins organization but they have some good pieces for the future on the team.

Bruins will Finish 3rd or 4th in the Atlantic.

My bold prediction for this season is IF Karlsson is not traded, the Sens have a successful season which is who Boston will compete with for the 3rd spot in the Atlantic

So If I am getting these Projected Line Values right, and I think I do, this means Bruins have to much Projected 3rd line Value and needs to make a drastic move. Would NOT be suprised if Murrmurs starts to occur about a BIG move with... oh i dont know, maybe Montreal? Also Leafs, probably Philly as well as they have some INSANE Projected 2nd pair Values that needs a fixing. Somewhere MurrMurrs will occur, thats for sure. Keep your eye on the Rangers aswell.

When you promise me they bump the Flyerz out of the playoffs, i will believe you that.

Bruins will finish #3 in Atlantic, which is most likely the last qualifier of this division.

I'd say Florida is a dark horse as well. Barely missed last season and they're only better this year.

They barely missed but they sucked all year and had a ridiculous winning streak that wont happen again. Hoffman is also on Florida so its only a matter of time before someone elses wife gets harassed

Even after the McQuaid trade, the Bruins still have too many defenders... You have Grzelcyk missing from the top 6, but he certainly earned a job last year, so I don't see him being the 7th defenseman this year. And all the players you have listed in the top 6, there's not a 7th defenseman in that group either... so unless they just plan on platooning guys to give Chara some extra games off (please) something's gotta give.

There is already too much Laughs and Broons non-news on this site this season.

Can we please re-focus on the downfall of my beloved Habs ?

Still think Tampa has the inside position for a Karlsson trade.

If Dallas offers up Hiskanen I think Ottawa says yes (even over Tampa).

Dark horse is Nashville. Would they ship Subban to Edmonton in a three way for Karlsson?

Why would Nashville trade away PK... who is signed longterm... for EK who needs a new contract that will cost a heck of a lot more.

The upside of EK over PK is negligible when you take into account the contracts imho.

Good question.

Rumbles out of Nashville is that management is having similar thoughts as Montreal. In particular, Subban is not popular with the other players and not a positive role model for younger players.

Nobody disputes the individual talent. But, the team benefit might get watered down by the never ending "prime time" attitude.

I don't buy it.
Guy is loved by many a team mate. Hard working as anything too... been following him on social media since his time in MTL. Guy is working his butt off consistently.

If this ends up being Tampa with Karlsson for the 50th time, I wonder if Yzerman stepping down had something to do with it? Likely getting pressure to offload picks and players he doesn't feel is necessary to give up given Karlsson free agent status after next season?

I don't understand these ratings. Feels made up. I dont think there will be a 3-way trade involving EK, Subban, Preds, Sens, Oil. Sounds stupid and oversensationalized.

I am really looking forward to real hockey...
