So the Sharks have
Thornton, Pavelski, Couture, Kane, Hertl, Meier, etc up front
Karlsson, Burns, Vlasic, Braun, Dillon, etc on the back end
Jones in net
Granted that Thornton is now a fossil and Pavelski is up there too...but damn. - Nucker101
If that's all it took to get Karlsson, I bet a lot of GM's are pissed right about now

Why do the kids have to have a Boeser like season?? If those are anyone’s expectations - that’s a horrible way to measure success.
How are kids like Goldy Gaudette Dahlin Leipsic supposed to show consistency if they’re not given an opportunity? All I’m saying is Schaller is not guaranteed a spot on the opening night roster - I didn’t say anything about waiving him either. - Brooks_Light
That's all good and fine...but I'm saying he is. No one here will agree on everything.
You measure success by consistency. Like I said previously the only one that even remotely that has a shot to supplant Schaller early on is Leipsic. And even that depends. Dahlen and Gaudette have 5 NHL games between them. Schaller was brought here for a reason. Dahlen, Gaudette and even Goldy have a whole bunch to prove. Sure I want the kids to move up but patience man. I said 'Pettersson' is the only one that has the 'ability' to put up Boeser-like numbers. Goldy, Gaudette, Dahlen, Leipsic are a different thing altogether.
What I am curious about however is why pick on Schaller to be supplanted by Gaudette, Goldy, Dahlen or Leipsic?
Schaller scored as many goals as Beagle and Roussel combined.
Why can't Beagle or Roussel be punted down the depth chart? |

the insane part is that Wilson traded for most of that core
Thornton, Kane, Burns, Karlsson, Jones
Hell, he even traded up to draft Couture. |

Karlsson will help them but it's a Jets-Tampa final.

Wilson has done one heck of a job.
It sucks we have to play against Karlsson so much this year though haha |

okay so this is it:
so yeah, I was right. They need to make the SCF and re-sign Karlsson for that extra 1st
And no way Wilson is letting them get that other 1st by trading him East - Nucker101

Bruins and Sharks would be my pick
Sharks can put them on 2 different pairs and have an elite dman out there for 50 minutes inn a 60 minute game
and Vlasic and Braun are the exact type of guys who can just play the safe steady game for 20+ mins a night and let those 2 do their thing. |

So Benning just announced that they won’t sign Boeser this season. They will wait until next summer. Smart move - CanuckDon

Norris is that middling prospect that pretty much everyone has.
Quinn Hughes outscored Norris who was their 2nd line center by quite a bit as a d-man.
I personally would have asked for Merkley. His upside is substantially higher. - classic321
No wonder bending was in the hunt. Jesse. Tanev + 2020 1st + Hutton is better lol

West is looking strong again
Still have the Preds/Jets but the Blues/Sharks have really loaded up.
Can't count out Vegas even though we all expect them to regress, replacing Perron and Neal with Pacioretty and Stastny is solid for them. |

Yeah, Norris is a Lind/Woo level prospect at best, rest is just picks. Quinn Hughes outscored him by a decent margin on the same team and he's a dman who's younger than Norris who's a forward.
Tierney is a 3LC.
It's too bad these trades weren't available when the Canucks were actually good. |
