I like Granlund but I agree, get rid of Gagner. Hold some money back and send him to Columbus. I want to see Leipsic and Goldie play on the big team this year. Gaudette and Dahlen can fill in for injuries if they’re doing all right in the A - fubtastik
I know some people will argue that Gaudette and Dahlen can spend time in Utica, but i'd personally rather them start up with the big boys, I think they're both mature enough to handle it in a sheltered role. |

1) Sam Gagner averages 40+ points per season.
2) The Canucks only had 5 players eclipse the 40 point mark last season
3) 2 of them retired, the other 1 was traded to the Jackets.
Also, why is Motte never mentioned in these lineups? He was great on the PK and showed more heart, speed and hustle than most of the players on the team last year.
Show these 2 some respect - Nucker101
No.
One needs to play exclusively on the PP and the another is a peripheral ahl/nhl player.
Respect denied. |

IMO those ppl think the AHL will help them but i disagree. They might believe hiding them there to avoid waivers for others is the proper course. Disagree again. The fact is any player that is ready & good enough to push others out of the way should play. Idc about the casualties who lose their spots. Gagner Gaunce Granlund are plugs.
The way we are built & the prospects that are knocking on the door its time to see JB take this forward. |

Double denied. Plus the team is going to suck and Gagner is taking a roster spot away from a young player that we will have to waive. So let’s lose someone to a waiver pickup for good ol’ Sams 31pts and -18. |

Gaunce and Gagner sure. Granlund is useful. Keep all the prospects in the A and as far away from the dumpster fire in Vancouver next year.

Granlund i can live with but dumpster fire is an over exageration. Its a rebuild season that will come with pain. Sens are a dumpster fire |

Nice work Carol. Not one bad thing anyone can say about Brock. The kid is going to be the most popular US born player in the league within the next 2-3 years |

Thanks Carol, the last blog went off the rails, we'll try to keep this one clean.
Boeser is such a good kid, I feel his pain, same exact injury except I had to haul my own ass off the mountain and have friends load me into my car to get to the hospital, the next day.

teams arent looking to add scraps at the moment. All teams have a surplus of fringe players competing for spots. Trades will be made between November and March as injuries begin to pile up across the league. |

Gaunce is 22. Really hasn't realized his potential yet, but is easily a solid bottom 6 guy. Started producing more last year and I expect the same this year and more of the same solid special teams play. Not going to be upset if we lose him for nothing, but assuming kids that haven't played one AHL game let alone a NHL game are further along is... I'll be polite, it's not being pragmatic. |

The kids are fighting for top 6 spots not bottom 6. Gaunce is not & won’t be in the top 6 & the kids are not a fit in the bottom 6.
Polite or not that’s how we sit with prospects |

All of the prospects we have are top6 is this another delusional rabbit hole? Are you only referring to Dahlen and EP? |

I agree, wouldn't be upset if we lose him but he's a decent bottom 6 player and isn't a liability in his own end. |
